For nearly 20 years, we have supported Lowe’s and Home Depot partners with contract management system software for installers and fabricators.
Cilio Technologies, formerly IT Directions and Strategies (ITDS), was founded in 2001 by Randy Olejnik, who spent his career in information technology for manufacturing and supply chain.
After many years working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, project management systems, and supply chain systems for the manufacturing sector, Randy noticed an area of the business that was not addressed by these solutions.
He saw that building materials order management was very manual and confusing for installed sales products – products such as countertops, doors, windows, floors, decks, and any other product for homes or businesses that may need to be fabricated and professionally installed.
Riding The Cloud
With the evolution of software as a service (SaaS) and cloud technologies, Randy saw an opportunity to simplify this complicated problem. He built a web-based platform for building materials order management.
Cilio not only simplifies the flow of order information throughout this complex supply chain, but it also helps manufacturers and retailers cut costs, grow their businesses, and manage partner networks.
As Randy and the Cilio team continue to work with clients on their order distribution and management solutions, they continue to improve and evolve Cilio to meet the new and changing needs of its users. They are constantly looking at the way clients communicate and interact with their partners, and within their organizations, to find new and innovative ways to simplify this business process and help clients improve their bottom line.
Cilio is proud to have served well-known brands of high-end installed products, including:

Cilio Technologies started as a web application development company under the name of IT Directions and Strategies (ITDS). ITDS’ purpose was to use the web to re-engineer common IT processes.
2001 – 2006
ITDS worked with LG Hausys to solve a problem for Lowe’s Corporation. To manage countertop orders from point of sale through installation, Lowe’s had to connect national partners with their stores.
Cilio’s first development was an application called Partners Portal. The app used the web to connect partners and manage their orders. Partners Portal was for all of Cilio’s partners, not just Lowe’s.
Partners Portal was deployed by Lowe’s Corporation. Lowe’s asked all of their countertop vendors to start using Partners Portal. The partners found that it improved their processes, while saving time.
ITDS wanted to create a unique name for the solutions it had developed for retailers, manufacturers, fabricators, and installers. Breaking away from ITDS, the new group was named Cilio Technologies.
Another Big Partner
Cilio expanded sales channels with new workflows for Caesarstone and IKEA. Cilio partners with IKEA to expand its reach and help the international retail giant streamline installations.
Cilio began to develop a new application for installers from Lowe’s, Home Depot, and other retailers. The application was called CiO “Customer Installations Online” and integrated it with Partners Portal. CiO’s automated order entry, scheduled jobs, tracked jobs in the field, and complete and invoice jobs.
After being designed by installers and fabricators, CiO was released to a pilot group of real businesses. The pilot group tried the new application, rapidly adopted it, and made CiO an instant success.
Cilio deployed 30+ significant updates and reached installers in all 50 states. Cilio is constantly improving and expanding the capabilities of its solutions. To produce the best products possible for its users, Cilio welcomes feedback and suggestions and takes action to implement the changes.
Integrated with Lowe’s new IMS portal, FloorSoft and continued expansion.
